Loved your TI video. I am as well, an ardent and devoted TI swimmer. Unlike yourself, I was a competitive
swimmer in high-school and college, but was spiritually, and profoundly changed by learning the TI method.
What was astonishing to me, was I thought I knew everything there was to know about swimming. It was wonderfully humbling to become a beginner again. (Beginner’s mind).
Quite regularly people stop me in the pool and ask me what I’m doing. I can’t wait to share with them the beauty of TI.
Okay, now here’s my brief life-description and humble request: (I’ve never asked anything like this before). I’m a pro musician here in Santa Cruz CA, and I’d love to become a TI instructor, but I can’t afford it! I thought I would ask if you or your organization would be willing to support me taking the course? In return, I will offer many free, or reduced rate lessons for people like yourself who I know would benefit.
I have also experienced a significant health crisis in my life. I was diagnosed with Leukemia, and received a bone-marrow transplant many years ago, so I have some familiarity with serious health challenges. I was originally told I had six months to live.
Okay, that’s it. I realize this is a bit strange, but I feel I just had to ask once I saw your video.
In either case, I love your energy and your message.
Big Love,
Steve Walters
